Just The Facts Ma'am

Did you know that the city of Beaumont signed a contract with Urban Logic Consultants of Temecula in 1993 for city planning and economic development at a monthly rate of $10,000 (to be renegotiated annually)? http://www.urbanlogicgroup.com/consultants.html

Did you know the contract was amended 5 months later in September 1993 to add public works services and increasing the monthly compensation to $15,000 (to be renegotiated annually) and added compensation of public improvements not to exceed 4.5% for "Plan Checking" and "Construction Inspection"?

Did you know the contract was amended again 7 months later to "facilitate the appointment of CONSULTANT (Urban Logics) in a contractual capacity" and to add "Public Works Construction Management to the list of services for which they receive ADDITIONAL compensation  "not exceeding four and one-half percent (4.5%) of the bid price awarded by the city for each project"?

Did you know all of these documents are available on the city's website?

March 1993 - Original Contract: http://www.ci.beaumont.ca.us/DocumentCenter/Home/View/2147

September 1993 - Amendment: http://www.ci.beaumont.ca.us/DocumentCenter/Home/View/2148

April 1994 - Amendment: http://www.ci.beaumont.ca.us/DocumentCenter/Home/View/2146

Did you know there are no other contracts or amendments with Urban Logic posted to the city's site in the last 19 years?

Did you know there are three "principals" of Urban Logic signing the contracts and amendment - Ernest Eggers, David Dillon, and Deepak Moorjani?

Did you know if you search the city's website or the Internet for any of the three "principals" you will find articles referencing these three as serving the city in the following capacities - Director of Planning, Director of Public Works and Director of Economic Development?

Did you know if you visit the city's website pages for each of the three departments, there is no mention of any of these three as directors of their departments?

In a comment to my one of my earlier posts, I was asked whose idea was the Potrero Interchange. I don't know conclusively but I have an idea who stands to gain the most financially. Please do your own research and form your own conclusion.
